We have always thought of finding our smartphones when they are seemingly hidden from our plain sight. There is an app from Google which enables us to find our Android phone without having a tracking app installed.
Android Device Manager helps us to remotely control and track your phone , if your phone is connected with your Google account. Your phone must have internet connection and GPS should be turned on.
ADM / Android Device Manager is a tool to track your registered smartphones. If you lose your Android device ; just login on to any other smartphone to find your device. But if the other person disconnects the Google account, then ADM or other tracking apps will not be useful to track it.We can hope that Google would bring out new features like taking the snapshot of the user in later updates.
Some of the ADM features were implemented by Google search, so that you can quickly find your Android device. Search 'Where is my phone' in Google to find or ring the phone. Of course, this app cannot be the best method of tracking a device, but certainly useful and it's an official Google app.
